Welcome to the BLISSFUL journey

Day 25 – could not provide water on time to mataji

We started our Spiritual journey to Yamunotri. To reach the place where Yamuna river originates, a steep mountain needs to be summited. The locals gave us handsticks for use as support while climbing up. They were even selling Rain coats as rain was common in that place and few of us even bought them as a precaution. We had our bags loaded onto mules and started climbing up the hill by foot. Even the bag with all the essentials meant for Mataji was loaded on to the mules. The tourists there, had the option to take a Dholi ride, or even ride up the hill on mules. Mataji insisted to climb up by foot and so did everyone followed. We made slow and steady progress using the help of our handsticks. On our way, we kept talking about Meditation experiences with Mataji and her sister Prashanthi Ma. We were soon surrounded by huge, dark, black mountains. Those enormous mountains, enchanting waterfalls and lovely colourful creepers left us mesmerizing the great creations of God. It made us wonder how beautiful the higher spiritual worlds would be, if Earth itself is such awe inspiring. We could sight a few caves too, which seemed like shelter to many great yogis of Himalayas. Our journey continued further and the sight of a tall and beautiful snow-capped mountain  overjoyed us. We stopped for a short break. Mataji would usually take warm water only. But the mules which were carrying our luggage, including the bag with hot water for Mataji went way ahead of us, leaving us stranded, unable to provide warm water to Mataji when needed.
